Five Things I Love About Me
My dedication. I am usually pretty dedicated and committed to something once I set my mind to it!
My running ability. Even though I am not the fastest, and I can’t run for a really long time, I still love that I’m able to run! When I first started running, I never thought I would be able to run five miles straight, but here I am! I’m really proud of my running journey so far!
My hair. I like how my hair is. It’s not too thin or thick, and I also love the color!
My ability to understand math. I know some people who don’t do well at math at all, and really struggle with it. I have never found it very hard, and I understand it pretty well and sometimes I even like it!
My organization. I usually can’t stand a messy room, and I love to organize! I think that I’m pretty good at it too, and that’s just something I love about myself!
The Questions
What are a few things you’re insecure about? Maybe my acne. It’s not that bad, but it has gotten worse recently. My brothers always point it out, and stuff, so I feel a little insecure about it. Also, maybe just my awkwardness when talking to people.
What are some things you accomplished recently? I finished the first draft of a dystopian book I’m writing! I’m so proud of it because it’s a book I’ve been working on for years. I just had to push myself to finish it!
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why? I’d probably say my shyness and awkwardness when talking to people I don’t know well. It might not seem like it on here, but in real life, I’m a total introvert. If I could change anything I’d probably say not to be as shy and awkward in talking to people.
If you could create your dream wardrobe, what would you wear? My favorite types of clothing are athletic/sporty types of clothes! My closet would be filled with shorts, athletic shirts, cute summer dresses, tennis shoes, and hoodies!
What’s a unique/secret skill you have? I don’t really know…
How do you have a positive impact on others? I think that blogging and spreading positivity can really have a good impact on people, especially sharing the things that I love with everyone!

I love this challenge! It’s so hard to only use one scentence for each! But it was really fun to do it again! Thanks again Rae! Have a great day, bye!
Hi everyone! For my first post, I’ll be doing a bookish challenge. The Do I have that book challenge is a fun challenge is a fun challenge where there are several questions, and I have to choose a book for each of those questions! Many booktubers (youtubers that post things about books 🙂 ) do this challenge, and it is usually timed. I won’t be timing it, but I’ll try to do it as fast as I can!
1. Do you have a book with deckled edges?
I absolutely hate deckled edges! They are annoying, and you also can’t flip through all the pages when the book has deckled edges. With that being said, I still have a few books with deckled edges. The first book I found was my sister’s copy of The Orphan’s Tale by Pam Jenoff. I haven’t read it yet, but my sister says it’s very good! It’s a historical fiction book taking place during WWII.
2. Do you have a book with three or more people on the cover?
This was a hard one, because most books only have one or two people on the cover, but I found Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly. This is yet another book that my sister has read that I haven’t gotten to yet. She said that it was pretty good, and it’s another historical fiction WWII book.
3. Do you have a book based on another fictional story?
Would this be fairy tale retellings? I guess that it is. If so, I have the book Shadow of the Bear by Regina Doman. This is yet another book my sister has finished and I haven’t. I am reading it now.
4. Do you have a book with a title 10 letters long?
Mockingjay! This is the third book in the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. It is the best series ever! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves YA books or dystopian series. I think it the only book I own that has 10 letters too.
5. Do you have a book with a title that starts and ends with the same letter?
I guess I’ll choose Twilight for this one. If you haven’t heard of this book (which is very unlikely because it is super popular) it is a YA book about a vampire romance by Stephenie Meyer. I think that it is the only book I have that starts with the same letter it ends with.
6. Do you have a mass market paperback book?
I had to google what this meant, and the definition of a mass market paperback is a smaller book I think. I don’t have any.
7. Do you have a book written by an author using a pen name?
My sister has a copy of City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. This one was hard because I don’t think that I would really know if one of the authors were using a pen name. But I do know that Cassandra Clare is a pen name.
8. Do you have a book with a character’s name in the title?
I have a copy of Zac and Mia by A.J. Betts. Idk what it is really about except it being a contemporary book about two people who are sick. I think it might be like Five Feet Apart, but again, I haven’t read Zac and Mia. I also have Four by Veronica Roth. It is a book that is kind of in the Divergent series, but it’s told by someone else, the love interest.
9. Do you have a book with two maps in it?
Most books only have one map. But I found an old beaten up copy of The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. I believe it has two maps. I haven’t read it (or watched the movies) but my sister loves them. She keeps telling me to read them.
10. Do you have a book that was turned into a TV show?
Zac and Mia was turned into a TV show, and I think that that is the only book I have that was turned into a TV show. Most of them are turned into movies.
11. Do you have a book written by someone who was originally famous for something else? i.e. celebrity, athlete, politician, TV personality, etc.
I don’t think so.
12. Do you have a book with a clock on the cover?
I thought I did, but it was actually pretty hard to find. I eventually saw the the copy of the Wrinkle in Time trilogy had a small clock on the mantle of the picture in the cover.
13. Do you have a poetry book?
My mom has some on the bookshelf in our living room, but there are none on my bookshelf.
14. Do you have a book with an award stamp on it?
The War that Saved my Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley has an award for Newberry Honor Book, but I don’t really know what that means. I started reading it a bit ago. It is actually a children’t book but it’s really good so far.
15. Do you have a book written by an author with the same initials as you?
Not many people have the initials B.P. My actual name is Rebekah, so I guess R.P. would count too. But all I could find were two books, both by the same author, who had the same first initial as mine. Ruta Sepetys. She wrote Salt to the Sea and Between Shades of Grey and those are both books I love so much. Both are set during WW2. They are companion novels. One follows a girl, and the other follows her cousin. Highly recommend them.
16. Do you have a book of short stories?
Yes! Fifty Best American Short Stories is one of the books on my shelf. I haven’t read any of the stories yet though.
17. Do you have a book that is between 500 and 510 pages long?
This was a hard one. It involved looking through almost every book on my shelf. I thought that the last book I finished, Reached by Ally Condie, had about 510 pages. But it was 512 pages! After a long search, I finally found Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken with 507 pages.
18. Do you have a book that was turned into a movie?
So many. The Hunger Games series, which is three books, are all made into movies. The prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds andSnakes, is also supposed to made into a movie. I also have the Divergent series, the Twilight series, the Lord of the Rings series, and The Book Thief.
19. Do you have a graphic novel?
Yes. Only one. I don’t usually like them, but the one I have is A Thief Among the Trees be Sabaa Tahir. This is a graphic novel about some of the characters in the Ember in the Ashes series, which is one of my favorite series.
20. Do you have a book written by two or more authors?
I mentioned reading Five Feet Apart by three different authors. But I got that one from the library. I don’t think a collection of short stories really counts, so I guess the answer for this one is no.
